Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Pre-Primary Teacher (Cat. No. 202/2025):

• Pass in SSLC or equivalent.
• Certificate of successful completion of Nursery Training (Kerala/Travancore-Cochin/Travancore/Cochin Government), or Nursery/Balasevika Training Certificate (State Council for Child Welfare), or Pre-Primary Teachers Training Certificate (Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala).
• Preference for TTC or TSLC holders with the above qualifications.

Physical Education Teacher (UPS, Malayalam Medium, Cat. No. 205/2025):

• Pass in SSLC or equivalent.
• Certificate in Physical Education (Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala; Karnataka/Tamil Nadu certificates acceptable per G.O.(MS)No.213/2010/G.Edn), or Vocational Higher Secondary Education Course in Physical Education, or B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed (regular course), or Ex-Servicemen with SSLC and specific Armed Forces Physical Training Courses.
• K-TET Category IV (exemptions for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed).

Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic, Cat. No. 218/2025):

• Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (Arabic as optional/second language), or Afzal-Al-Ulama Preliminary, or Pre-Degree (Arabic optional), or SSLC (Arabic as First Language) with Higher Secondary, or Higher Secondary with Arabic Teachers Examination, or Higher Secondary with Degree/Postgraduate in Arabic.
• 2-year D.El.Ed (Arabic) if qualifications acquired after 07.03.2019.
• Alternate qualifications (pre-07.03.2019): Degree in Arabic, Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic, Pre-Degree/Plus Two (Arabic optional), SSLC with Arabic (Part I/II) or Arabic Munshi/Teachers/Entrance Examinations.
• B.A. Arabic & Islamic History double main degree acceptable.
• K-TET Category IV (exemptions for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed; K-TET Category III holders exempt).

Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic, Cat. No. 242/2025–245/2025):

• Same qualifications as Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic).
• Restricted to Dheevara (242/2025), SCCC (243/2025), OBC (244/2025), Scheduled Tribe (245/2025).

Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Sanskrit, Cat. No. 264/2025):

• Pass in Higher Secondary (Sanskrit as optional/second language), or SSLC (Sanskrit as First Language) with Higher Secondary, or Prak Sastri (Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan), or Higher Secondary with Sanskrit Teachers Examination/Pre-Degree (Sanskrit optional), or Pre-Degree from Sanskrit Colleges, or Higher Secondary with Degree/Postgraduate in Sanskrit, or Degree in Sanskrit with B.Ed (Sanskrit).
• 2-year D.El.Ed (Sanskrit) if qualifications acquired after 07.03.2019.
• Alternate qualifications (pre-07.03.2019): Degree in Sanskrit, Title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit, Oriental School Leaving Certificate (Sanskrit), Preliminary/Pre-Degree/Pre-University (Sanskrit), Sanskrit Teachers Examination, or Plus Two with Sanskrit (Sahitya/Sastra, History, Economics).
• K-TET Category IV (exemptions for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed; K-TET Category III holders exempt).
• Restricted to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian community.

General Notes:

• Degrees/Diplomas must be from UGC-approved universities or recognized institutions.
• KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) applies.
• Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by government orders are acceptable. Candidates must produce relevant certificates when required.
• SSLC required for qualifications under Item II (Arabic/Sanskrit) if acquired pre-07.03.2019.

Age Limit

• General (202/2025, 205/2025, 218/2025): 18–40 (born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2007).
• NCA Posts (242/2025–244/2025, 264/2025): 18–43 (born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007).
• NCA Post (245/2025): 18–45 (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007).
• SCCC (243/2025): Adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children converted to Christianity: 18–45 (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007).
• Concessions: SC/ST and OBC candidates receive usual age relaxations, with a maximum limit of 50 years. Specific exemptions apply for wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts and Guides, Laboratory Attenders (5+ years service), and graduate teachers of Government Primary/Nursery Schools.

Application Fee

• No application fee is required.

Selection Process

• Written/OMR/Online Test (if conducted) in the respective language (Malayalam/Arabic/Sanskrit as applicable).
• Document Verification.
• Candidates must confirm exam participation via their One Time Registration profile to download Admission Tickets (available 15 days before the test).

How to Apply for Kerala PSC Recruitment 2025

Step 1: Register via One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Log in with User-ID and password, click ‘Apply Now’ for the respective post.
Step 3: Specify the district in the application (e.g., Kannur for 218/2025, Pathanamthitta for 264/2025).
Step 4: Upload required documents (photograph taken within 6 months with name and date printed, educational certificates, community certificate for NCA posts). The photograph is valid for 10 years.
Step 5: Submit the application and keep a printout/soft copy for reference.
Step 6: For posts with exams, confirm participation to download Admission Tickets.
