Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for SEBI Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Recruitment 2025 must possess the prescribed educational qualifications for their respective streams.

For the General Stream, applicants should hold a Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in any discipline, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Engineering, or be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

For the Legal Stream, a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university is required. Although not mandatory, a minimum of two years of experience as an Advocate is desirable.

For the Research Stream, candidates should have a Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Applicants for the Official Language Stream must hold a Master’s Degree in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Economics, or Commerce, with Hindi or English studied as a subject at the Bachelor’s level.

For the Engineering Streams, a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from a recognized university is required.

All qualifications must be from recognized universities or institutes, and candidates awaiting final results may also apply provisionally, provided they submit proof of eligibility before the final selection.
