Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Associate Professor in Geriatrics: Applicants must be officers under the Central/State Governments/Union Territories Administration currently holding analogous posts. The period of deputation will ordinarily not exceed three years.
- Assistant Professor in Geriatrics: Essential qualifications include (i) a recognized medical qualification (First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956). (ii) A Post graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned speciality from a recognized institution. (iii) At least three years experience as a lecturer or in an equivalent teaching post in a Medical College/Teaching Institution, specifically after obtaining the requisite postgraduate degree. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani is also essential.
- Scientific Officer: Candidates need (1) (i) a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Chemistry/Physics/Biology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution with Five Years experience in the relevant field. Alternatively, (i) a Master’s Degree in Science in Chemistry/Physics/Biology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution with Three years experience in the relevant field. (2) Knowledge of Konkani is also mandatory. Desirable qualifications include experience in Waste Management, knowledge of GIS/Remote Sensing, and knowledge of Marathi.
- Civil Registrar cum Sub Registrar: Applicants must possess (1) a Degree in Law from a recognized University in India or any other equivalent qualification. (2) Knowledge of Konkani is essential. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 years for Assistant Professor in Geriatrics, Scientific Officer, and Civil Registrar cum Sub Registrar posts.
- For the Associate Professor post, age is not specified as it is a deputation role.
