Station Officer (Sub-Inspector):

• B.Sc. or B.E. in Fire Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.

Vehicle Driver:

• 10+2 or old Higher Secondary examination pass from a recognized board.
• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License.

Vehicle Driver cum Operator:

• 10+2 or old Higher Secondary examination pass from a recognized board.
• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License.

Fireman:

• 10+2 or old Higher Secondary examination pass from a recognized board.

Storekeeper:

• 10+2 or old Higher Secondary examination pass from a recognized board.

Mechanic:

• 10+2 or old Higher Secondary examination pass from a recognized board.
• Diploma in Diesel Mechanic from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent.

Watchroom Operator:

• 10+2 or old Higher Secondary examination pass from a recognized board.
• Trained Home Guard.
