Eligibility Criteria for Government Medical College Jalna Faculty
Educational Qualification
- Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized university as per NMC norms dated 14.02.2022 & 30.06.2025. Valid MMC/MCI registration is mandatory.
- Professor: Minimum 3 years experience as Associate Professor + 4 research publications (minimum 2 as Associate).
- Associate Professor: Minimum 4 years of experience as an Assistant Professor + 2 research publications.
- Assistant Professor: 1 year Senior Resident/Tutor experience + BCBR & BOME courses completed.
- All candidates must meet NMC guidelines, including indexing anda minimum of 20 marks per publication.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: As per NMC rules
- Maximum Age: 70 years for Professor & Associate Professor; 40 years (UR) / 45 years (reserved) for Assistant Professor
- Relaxation: As per government rules for reserved categories
