Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): Regular degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university; part-time, evening classes, distance education, or non-AICTE approved not eligible.
- Municipal Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent + Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to matric or higher education.
- Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university + Hindi or Sanskrit up to matric standard or higher.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years (as of 01.09.2025)
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms: SC/Backward Classes 5 years, PwBD 5 years (+5 for SC/BC/EWS, max 52 years), wives of disabled military personnel/widowed/divorced/unmarried women 5 years, Ex-Servicemen military service +3 years, contract employees service years (max 52 years).
