Eligibility Criteria
Educational:
- SSC (Tech) Men & Women: B.E. / B.Tech in engineering disciplines as notified. Final-year students must produce a degree before joining.
- Widows of Defence Personnel: SSCW Tech – B.E./B.Tech; SSCW Non‑Tech – Graduate in any stream.
Nationality: Indian citizen, Nepal/Bhutan subjects, Tibetan refugees (pre‑1962), POI from specified countries (with eligibility certificate).
Age Limit: 20 to 27 years (born between 02 Apr 1999 and 01 Apr 2006). Widows – up to 35 years.
Marital Status: Candidates must be unmarried at the time of application; widows exempt.
Total Vacancy : 381 posts comprising 350 for Men, 29 for Women, and 2 reserved for widows of defence personnel.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on academic performance (engineering marks).
- SSB Interview: Two-stage SSB at selection centers: Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by SSB must pass medical standards.
- Merit List: Final merit prepared based on SSB + medical.
