Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Technician Apprentice (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics): A 3-year regular full-time Diploma in the respective Engineering discipline is required. General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates need 45%.
• Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist): Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) with a regular full-time 2-year ITI course (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, or Machinist) recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
• Graduate Apprentice (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA): A regular full-time Graduation in any discipline is necessary. General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, and SC/ST/PwBD candidates need 45%.
• Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher): A Class 12th pass (below graduate) is required. General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, and SC/ST/PwBD candidates need 45%.
• Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Candidates should be Class 12th pass (below graduate) and possess a Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ from a recognized awarding body.

Important: Only full-time regular courses are considered eligible. Qualifications acquired through Part-time / Correspondence / Distance Learning mode will not be accepted for this recruitment 2025-26. Applicants with higher professional qualifications like B.E./B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB, or equivalent, or those pursuing higher qualifications before joining, are not eligible.

Age Limit

Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided:

• SC/ST candidates: +5 years (up to 29 years)
• OBC-NCL candidates: +3 years (up to 27 years)
• PwBD candidates: +10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST, up to 13 years for OBC-NCL)
