Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

  • Copy Holder (Hindi) (Cat.No.209/2025):
    1. SSLC or equivalent with Hindi as one subject.
    2. (a) Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized institution, or
      (b) Pass in KGTE/MGTE in Proof Readers Work (Lower) and Composing (Lower), or VHSE with Printing Technology or equivalent, plus a Certificate in DTP.
  • Copy Holder (Tamil) (Cat.No.210/2025):
    1. SSLC or equivalent with Tamil as the first language.
    2. (a) Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized institution, or
      (b) Pass in KGTE/MGTE in Proof Readers Work (Lower) and Composing (Lower), or VHSE with Printing Technology or equivalent, plus a Certificate in DTP.
  • Binder Grade II (Cat.No.216/2025):
    1. SSLC or equivalent.
    2. (a) Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized institution, or
      (b) Pass in KGTE/MGTE in Book Binding (Lower), or VHSE with Printing Technology or equivalent.

Note: Equivalent or higher qualifications recognized by government orders are acceptable. Candidates must produce relevant certificates when required by KPSC. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) applies.

Age Limit

  • All Posts: 18–36 (born between January 2, 1989, and January 1, 2007).
  • Relaxations: Usual relaxations for SC/ST and OBC candidates, with a maximum age limit of 50 years, as per para 2 of General Conditions under Part II of the Gazette notification.

Additional Requirements

  • No specific physical or additional qualifications are required.
  • Candidates must ensure community details match SSLC records; discrepancies require a Gazette Notification and Non-Creamy Layer/Community Certificate during verification.
  • Applications not meeting notification conditions will be rejected, and bogus claims may lead to disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976.
