Vacancy Details

Note:

• Vacancies for Law Officer, Assistant Conservation Officer, and Preservation Supervisor are open statewide. Divisional Accounts Officer, Assistant Manager, Assistant Compiler, and Assistant/Cashier are reserved for specific communities (ST, Muslim, OBC, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, SC).
• The Ranked Lists will remain valid for 1–3 years or until a new list is published, with extensions possible if no candidates are advised.
• 4% of vacancies are reserved for Differently Abled candidates as per applicable rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Law Officer (Cat.No.192/2025): Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 60% marks from a recognized university in Kerala, plus 5 years of active court practice.
• Assistant Conservation Officer (Cat.No.186/2025): First or Second Class M.Sc. in Chemistry, 3 years’ experience in archival record conservation, 2 years’ research experience in Chemistry from a government-recognized institution. Preferential: Certificate course in conservation from National Archives of India.
• Preservation Supervisor (Cat.No.189/2025): SSLC or equivalent, KGTE/MGTE in Book Binding (Higher), proficiency in binding/mending old records (proven via KPSC practical test).
• Finance Assistant (Cat.No.199/2025): Degree in Commerce, PGDCA, 3 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance in Central/State Government, Public Sector, or Registered Private Sector Undertaking post-degree.
• Divisional Accounts Officer (Cat.No.220/2025): M.Com Degree or pass in Intermediate Examination of Chartered Accountant/ICWA.
• Assistant Manager (Cat.No.229/2025): Degree in any discipline, MBA, PGDCA, 2 years’ supervisory experience in a Public Sector Undertaking or Registered Firm post-MBA.
• Assistant Compiler (Cat.No.231/2025): SSLC with 60% in Mathematics (not required for graduates in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Commerce), or Computer Certificate A, B, C from Indian Statistical Institute, or National Diploma in Commerce, plus 2 years’ experience as LD Compiler in Government/Registered Companies.
• Assistant/Cashier (Cat.No.232/2025–234/2025): 3 years’ regular service in KERAFED-affiliated member societies, plus one of: Degree in Commerce or Master’s in Arts with Co-operation, BA/B.Sc/B.Com with HDC/HDCM or Junior Diploma in Co-operation, Diploma in Rural Services with Co-operation, or B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking).

Note: Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by government orders are acceptable. Candidates must upload certificates (educational, experience, community) in the prescribed format at application submission, or applications will be rejected. Experience certificates must be countersigned by authorized officers.

Age Limit

• Law Officer, Assistant Conservation Officer, Preservation Supervisor, Finance Assistant: 18–36 (born between January 2, 1989, and January 1, 2007).
• Divisional Accounts Officer: 18–41 (born between January 2, 1984, and January 1, 2007, ST only).
• Assistant Manager, Assistant Compiler: 18–39 (born between January 2, 1986, and January 1, 2007, Muslim/OBC only).
• Assistant/Cashier: 18–50 (born between January 2, 1975, and January 1, 2007).
• Relaxations: Usual relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, and Differently Abled as per norms, up to a maximum of 50 years. Provisional employees in specified institutions get relaxation up to 5 years for prior service.

Application Fee

• No application fee is required for any category.

Selection Process

• Law Officer, Assistant Conservation Officer, Finance Assistant, Assistant Manager, Assistant Compiler, Assistant/Cashier: Written/OMR/Online Test (if conducted), Interview (if applicable), Document Verification.
• Preservation Supervisor: Includes a practical test for binding/mending skills.
• Divisional Accounts Officer: Competitive Initial Recruitment Examination (General Knowledge, Precis Writing, General English; Elementary Book Keeping; Arithmetic & Mensuration) with minimum passing marks (30%–35% per subject, 160/500 total). Candidates can appear for the exam up to three times.

Step 1: Register through One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Log in with User-ID and password, click ‘Apply Now’ for the desired post.
Step 3: Fill out the application form accurately, ensuring community details match SSLC records (Gazette Notification required for discrepancies).
Step 4: Upload required documents (recent photograph, educational certificates, experience certificates in prescribed format, community certificates for reserved posts).
Step 5: Submit the application and keep a printout/soft copy for reference.
Step 6: For posts with exams, confirm participation via One Time Registration profile to download Admission Tickets (available 15 days before the test).

Note: Applications from candidates outside specified communities (e.g., ST for Cat.No.220/2025, Muslim for Cat.No.229/2025, OBC for Cat.No.231/2025, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, SC, Muslim for Cat.No.232–234/2025) will be rejected. Aadhaar should be added as ID proof in profiles.
