Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
For Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. Degree in the concerned or allied discipline.
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- Must have 7 research publications in UGC-listed journals/books with a research score of at least 75 as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Candidates must be able to teach in Sanskrit medium.
- Preference for candidates with practical knowledge in Yoga/Agama disciplines.
For Assistant Professor:
- Acharya/Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject.
- Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or an equivalent test such as SLET/SET.
- Ph.D. holders as per UGC norms are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- Ability to teach in Sanskrit medium is mandatory.
- For Education (Sanskrit Teaching Methodology) post, candidates must also possess M.Ed./Shiksha Acharya qualification.
Age Limit
- No upper age limit for teaching posts.
- Age relaxation as per Government of India norms:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwBD: +10 to +15 years (as applicable)
- SC/ST: +5 years
