Educational Qualification

• Assistant Law Officer: Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent). This must be a full-time degree from a recognized Indian university or institute. A minimum of 60% marks is required (relaxable to 55% for SC/PwBD candidates). Furthermore, candidates are mandatorily required to have appeared for the CLAT-2026 (Common Law Admission Test-2026) Post Graduate programme, conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. Only CLAT-2026 Post Graduate programme scores will be considered valid for this NTPC Assistant Law Officer Recruitment 2026.

Age Limit

• Stage 4: Medical Fitness Test. Candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination at any of the NTPC hospitals. Sound health is a mandatory requirement.
