Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government (by 31.12.2025).
- Final-year/semester students may apply provisionally, provided they submit proof of graduation by December 31, 2025.
- Matriculate Ex-Servicemen with Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or equivalent Navy/Air Force certificate after 15 years of service are eligible (certificate dated on or before 31.12.2025).
- Proficiency in the specified local language of the applied State/UT (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) is mandatory.
Age Limit (as on 01.04.2025)
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years (born between 02.04.1997 and 01.04.2005)
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years (8 years for SC/ST Disabled Ex-Servicemen), max 50 years

Selection Process
- Phase I: Preliminary Examination (Online, 100 marks, 1 hour)
- Phase II: Main Examination (Online, 200 marks, 2 hours 40 minutes)
- Phase III: Local Language Proficiency Test
- Final Selection: Based on Main Exam marks, subject to document verification and qualifying for the language test.
Note: A waitlist of up to 50% of vacancies (State/category-wise) will be maintained for one year to fill non-joining/resignation vacancies.
