Recruitment Details

SBI invites online applications for 541 Probationary Officer (PO) posts under advertisement CRPD/PO/2025-26/04, with registrations open from 24th June 2025 to 14th July 2025 at https://bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India and will undergo a two-year probation with continuous assessment. Candidates must complete an online banking knowledge course before joining and sign a ₹2 Lakh bond to serve SBI for at least three years. The selection process includes:

Penalties: A 1/4th mark deduction applies for wrong answers in objective tests. Candidates must submit original documents (e.g., educational certificates, caste/EWS/PwBD certificates) during the interview. Appointments are subject to medical fitness, background checks, and verification of credentials. Candidates with adverse CIBIL reports or pending criminal cases are ineligible.

Eligibility Criteria

Notes:

Final-year graduates must provide proof of passing by 30.09.2025.

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and EWS certificates must be issued on/after 01.04.2025 and for 2024-25, respectively.

PwBD candidates (40%+ disability) must submit a disability certificate dated on/before 14.07.2025.

Candidates exceeding the maximum permissible attempts are ineligible.

2. Register online with a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Upload scanned photograph (20–50 KB, 200×230 pixels), signature (10–20 KB, 140×60 pixels), left-hand thumb impression (20–50 KB, 240×240 pixels), hand-written declaration (50–100 KB, 800×400 pixels), and a live photograph via webcam/mobile.
4. Pay the fee online (debit/credit card, Internet Banking, UPI).
5. Save and apply; no changes allowed after final submission.
6. Download and retain the e-receipt and application form.

Hand-Written Declaration Text: “I, (Name of the candidate), (Date of Birth), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph, and left-hand thumb impression are mine.”

Note: Retain 8 copies of the uploaded photograph for future stages. Biometric verification (thumb impression/IRIS scan) may be conducted, and mismatches may lead to disqualification. Mobile phones and calculators are prohibited in exam venues.

Scribe Guidelines for PwBD Candidates

PwBD candidates (40%+ disability) with physical limitations in writing may use a scribe, arranged at their own cost, with the following rules:

• Indicate the scribe requirement in the application.
• Submit a joint undertaking with the scribe’s photograph at the exam.
• The scribe’s qualification must be one step below the candidate’s.
• Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour is provided.
• Non-eligible candidates using a scribe face disqualification.
