Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Tailor: HSLC or Class-X pass from a recognized Board/Council is required. A Diploma in Tailoring from a Govt. of Assam recognized Institute is also mandatory. Candidates need relevant trade skills, including operating sewing machines and knowledge of fabrics.
- For Dresser: HSLC or Class-X pass from a recognized Board/Council is necessary. Applicants must have a two (2) years’ experience certificate in Dresser (Medical) work from a government-recognized Institute. Knowledge of contamination control and wound care procedures is essential.
- For Nurse: A Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a Government Medical College is a must.
- For Craft Instructor: Candidates need to be HSLC or Class-X passed from a recognized Board/Council. A Certificate in Bamboo & Cane work, Tailoring, Weaving, or Soap making from an ITI or similar recognized institute is required.
- For Craft Helper: HSLC or Class-X pass from a recognized Board/Council is required. A one-month Certificate in Carpentry from an Industrial Training Institute or similar recognized institute is also necessary.
- For Yoga Instructor & Yoga Instructress: HS (Higher Secondary) pass with a Diploma in Yoga from a recognized Institute is required.
- For Pharmacist: A Diploma in Pharmacy from a Government Medical College is essential. Registration under the Assam Pharmacy Council is also a mandatory requirement.

Age is calculated as of January 01, 2026.
- Minimum Age:
- 18 years for Tailor & Dresser posts.
