About SPICES BOARD
Spices Board (Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India) is the flagship organization for the development and worldwide promotion of Indian spices. It is responsible for the export promotion of the 52 scheduled spices and the development of cardamom (small & large). The current recruitment 2026 drive aims to select qualified candidates for Research Assistant positions on a contractual basis.

- Research Assistant (Post Harvest Technology Division): M.Sc Post-Harvest Technology/ M.Sc Agricultural Engineering (with specialization in Post-Harvest Engineering/Processing)/ M.Sc Food Technology / Food Science & Technology/ M.Sc Horticulture (with specialization or experience in postharvest handling/processing) from a recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% marks/GPA 6.0.
- Essential Experience: Candidates must possess two years of relevant research experience.
- Desirable: Working knowledge in computers, experience in conducting research trial experiments, data compilation, analysis, and report preparation.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: Not specified (generally 18 years).
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of the walk-in test (12/02/2026).
