About Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC)

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Written Examination: This stage carries 85 marks. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks to proceed.
• Stage 2: Interview/Viva Process: Shortlisted candidates from the written examination will be called for an interview, which carries 15 marks. The interview assesses intellectual ability, social traits, current affairs knowledge, critical judgment, and leadership qualities.

• Tie-breaking Rule: In case of equal aggregate marks, the older candidate will be ranked higher. If age is also the same, the percentage of marks in the minimum educational qualification will determine merit.

This includes age proof, educational qualifications, internship certificate, registration certificate, caste/category certificate, and PRTC.
