Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
– Assistant Public Prosecutor: Degree in law from a recognized University. – Public Prosecutor: Degree in law from a recognized University and seven years’ practice at the Bar in conducting criminal cases. – Lecturer (Botany): Post Graduation in Botany with B.Ed. – Lecturer (Chemistry): Post Graduation in Chemistry with B.Ed. – Lecturer (Economics): Post Graduation in Economics with B.Ed. – Note: Qualifications are relaxable at UPSC’s discretion for well-qualified candidates, with reasons recorded in writing.
Age Limit
– Assistant Public Prosecutor: 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC. – Public Prosecutor: 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC/ST. – Lecturers (Botany, Chemistry, Economics): 45 years for ST (includes one-time 5-year relaxation for 2025-2026 recruitments vide Order No. 280-LA(GAD) of 2025 dated 30.06.2025). – Age relaxation applicable as per government norms for reserved categories and PwBD.
