Educational Qualification

  • Physicist-cum-Radiation Safety Officer:
    Option A:
    • Master’s Degree in Physics, Electronics, or Biophysics from a recognized university.
    • Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Radiological or Medical Physics from a recognized university/institution.
    • Certificate of Radiation Safety Officer from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) or Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).
      Option B:
    • M.Sc. in Medical Physics from a recognized university.
    • Certificate of Radiation Safety Officer from BARC or AERB.
      Note: Candidates must obtain authorization from BARC/AERB to function as a Radiation Safety Officer after joining.
  • General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO):
    • An MBBS degree is included in the First, Second, or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
    • Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.
    • Selected candidates must register with the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of joining.
