Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants for SER Act Apprentice posts need to meet these educational requirements:
- Pass Matriculation (10th class in 10+2 system) from a recognized Board.
- Secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects) in Matriculation.
- Hold an ITI Pass certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: Applicants must be at least 15 years of age as of 01.01.2026.
- Maximum Age: Applicants must not have completed 24 years of age as of 01.01.2026.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years.
- OBC candidates: Upper age limit relaxable by 3 years.
- Physically Handicapped (PwBD) candidates: Upper age limit relaxable by 10 years.
- Ex-servicemen candidates: Additional 10 years relaxation, based on service rendered, plus 3 years.

- General / OBC / EWS candidates: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only).
- SC / ST / PwBD / Women candidates: No Fee.
