Recruitment Details

UPPSC invites online applications for 7,466 posts of Assistant Teacher (Trained Graduate Grade) for both Male and Female branches under Government Inter Colleges and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. The recruitment involves a Preliminary Exam followed by a Main Written Exam. The preliminary exam filters eligible candidates who will later appear for the final selection based on the main exam marks.

Male Branch: 4,860 vacancies
Female Branch: 2,525 vacancies
Special Category (Disabled): 81 posts

Candidates must apply online through the OTR system before the deadline. The selection will be based solely on performance in the written exam. No interviews will be conducted.

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Hindi 

(1) Graduation degree with Hindi as a subject from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India and Intermediate with Sanskrit as a subject. Or Pass in Uttar Madhyama Pariksha from U.P. Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad. 

(2) Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India. 

Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) English 

(1) Graduation degree with English Literature from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India. 

(2) Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India.

Assistant Teacher (Male/Female)  Maths

(1) Graduation degree with Maths as one subject from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India. 

(2) Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India.

Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Science

(1) Graduation degree with Physics and Chemistry as subjects from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India.

(2) Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India.

Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Social Science

(1) Graduation degree in at least two subjects from the subjects History, Geography, Political Science and Economics from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India. 

(2) Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India. 

Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Social Science

(1) B.Tech./B.E. (Computer Science) from a University /Deemed University/Institution established by law in India. 

OR

Graduation in Computer Science and Application

OR

B.Tech. (Graduation in Computer Science) and MCA (Post Graduation in Computer Science)

(2) Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India as preferential qualification.

Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Sanskrit

(1) Graduation degree with Sanskrit as subject from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India.

SangeetVishrad from Bhatkhande Sangeet Mahavidyalaya or Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad along with Graduation degree from a University/ Deemed University/Institution established by law in India.

Note- No quality points shall be provided for Sangeet Visharad or Sangeet Prabhakar.
