Educational Qualification
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Cat.No.180/2025): B.Sc/B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from Kerala University, B.E (Civil) from Madras University, Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil Engineering, or Pass in Sections A and B of AMIE (India) in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Scientific Officer (Cat.No.185/2025): Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Forensic Science, Biochemistry, or equivalent branches with 50% marks (lowest class Master’s Degree for SC/ST).
- Technical Assistant (Visha) (Cat.No.193/2025): Pass in SSLC or equivalent, five years’ experience in handling poisonous and non-poisonous animals from a government-recognized institution’s Animal House.
- Tradesman Tool & Die Making (Cat.No.195/2025): Technical High School Leaving Certificate with specialization in the trade, or SSLC with National Trade Certificate, Kerala Government Certificate in Engineering, or Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate in the trade.
- III Grade Overseer (Civil) (Cat.No.222/2025, SC/ST only): SSLC or equivalent, plus one of: Lower Grade Drawing Group Certificate (KGTE), Second Grade Certificates for Draftsman (Civil) Trainees, Building Drawing and Estimating (KGTE) with two other Civil Engineering subjects, Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years, Women Polytechnics), Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering, or Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate in Draftsmanship and Quantity Surveying or Building Technology.
- Engineering Assistant Gr III (Cat.No.223/2025, SC/ST only): Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Civil Engineering or National Trade Certificate in Draftsman Civil.
Note: Equivalent qualifications recognized by government orders are acceptable.
