Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
• Class 10 (Matriculation) pass OR
• ITI certification (if specified for certain posts)
Age Limits (as of 25 August 2025):
• Constable, Fireman: 18–22 years (APST up to 27)
• Other posts: 18–35 years (APST up to 40, PwBD up to 45, APST+PwBD up to 50)
Physical Standards:
• Posts such as Constable and Fireman require Physical Standard Tests (PST), Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), and medical fitness, as specified in the notification.
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen or have eligibility documents as per norms.

Selection Process

Stage I – Written Exam (200 marks, 2 hours)
• Sections: General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, English – 50 marks each
• All MCQ-based; no negative marking
Stage II – PST/PET (for eligible posts)
• Constitutes height, chest, running, jump tests for Constable and Firemen
Stage III – Medical Fitness Test
• Required for safety-sensitive posts
Final Merit List:
• Determined solely based on written test scores; PST/PET and medical exams are qualifying in nature
