Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act). – Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council. – A postgraduate degree i.e., MD/MS/DNB as per MCI rule in the specialty concerned or its equivalent from a recognized University /Institute. – For specific departments like Cardiology, Clinical Immunology, etc., Post Graduate Medical Degree like MD in Medicine from recognised University/Institute. – For Burns & Plastic Surgery, Post Graduate Medical Degree like MS in General Surgery and Allied, ENT from recognised University /Institute. – For CTVS, Neurosurgery, etc., Post Graduate Medical Degree like MS in General Surgery and allied from recognised University/ Institute. – For Neonatology, Post Graduate Medical Degree like MD in Paediatrics from recognised University/Institute. – For Trauma & Emergency, Post Graduate Medical Degree like MD in Medicine, MS in General Surgery & Allied and Orthopaedics from recognised University/Institute. – For Pulmonary Medicine, Post Graduate Medical Degree like MD in Chest and TB or MD in Medicine from recognised University/Institute. – For Endocrinology, Post Graduate Medical Degree like MD in Medicine & Pediatrics from recognised University/Institute. – For Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology: Also open to Non-Medical Candidates with M.Sc./M.Biotech and Ph.D. in the subject. – A candidate applying for these posts should have a valid qualification (pass certificate) as on last date for the receipt of applications.

Age Limit

Upper Age Limit: 45 years (as on last date of submission of online applications). No age relaxation for reserved category candidates applying for unreserved vacancies. Permissible relaxation as per Government orders for reserved categories.
