Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board.
• The educational qualification is relaxable up to the 11th passed for specific categories. This includes sons/daughters of serving, retired, or deceased Delhi Police Personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police.
• It also applies to Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc., of the Delhi Police only.
• Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle or Car) as on the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). Learner Licenses are not acceptable.

Age Limit

• The minimum age limit for applicants is 18 years.
• The maximum age limit is 25 years as of July 1, 2025.
• Candidates should not have been born earlier than July 2, 2000, and not later than July 1, 2007.
• Age relaxation is provided for various categories:
  • SC/ST candidates receive a relaxation of 5 years.
  • OBC candidates receive a relaxation of 3 years.
