Educational Qualification
- Manager (Civil): Applicants must possess a full-time bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-recognized university or institution.
- A minimum of 60% marks or a first-class degree is required for candidates belonging to UR/EWS categories, and also for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates applying against unreserved posts.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD) applying against reserved posts need at least 50% marks in their minimum qualification.
- A minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant discipline is mandatory. Training, internship, teaching, academic, fellowship, or PhD research experience will not count towards this requirement.

Selection Process
- Stage 1: Written Test: This stage consists of 125 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark, with a duration of 2.5 hours. There is no negative marking. Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks (UR/EWS) or 45% marks (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts) to qualify for further consideration. The written test carries a 60% weightage in the overall selection.
- Stage 2: Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview in a ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies. The interview assesses technical & professional proficiency (30%) and personality, communication & competency (10%). A minimum of 60% marks (UR/EWS) or 50% marks (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts) is required in the interview. The interview carries a 40% weightage in the overall selection.
- Stage 3: Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the written test and interview will undergo document verification. This step ensures that all claims made in the application form are supported by valid certificates and proofs.
- Stage 4: Medical Fitness Test: Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness examination as per RITES rules and standards for the relevant post.
