Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Asst. Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee): Must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (minimum 3 years) or a Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering approved by AICTE.
• Technician (Electrician) (Trainee):
  • Matriculate or equivalent passed from a recognized Board.
  • ITI (2-year course) in Electrician Trade with NCVT/SCVT certificate.
  • Minimum 1 year training or on-the-job practical experience.
  • Valid LT permit under IE rules for Mines or 440-550 Volts mining parts permit.

Age Limit (As on 28/05/2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years (for General/EWS)
• Relaxation:
  • OBC (NCL): +3 years
  • SC/ST: +5 years
  • PwBD (Asst. Foreman only): +10 to +15 years, depending on category
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service period +3 years
  • Departmental Candidates: No upper age limit

Selection Process
